So many times, the best photography opportunities seem to be made of either impulse decisions or luck.
I had already planned to go out and see the Adelaide Hills Rally stages on the 3rd and 4th of October. What I hadn’t factored in was the impulse decision to knock off work early on Friday and drive an hour and a half up to Cambrai for the Super Special Stage at the Mid Murray Motorplex.
I turned up late, had no idea where to go or what was going to be happening. So I wandered down along the fence back towards the entrance and the stunning sunset. Turning back around, the skies had opened in the distance making a rainbow that ended right on the circuit.
It only lasted long enough to get two photos.
